What We Do
The Arab American Language Institute in Morocco (AALIM) was founded in 2008 in Meknes, Morocco, with the aim to create immersive, customized language programs. AALIM offers year-round in-person and virtual language instruction and content courses for individuals and groups. Language courses include Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Darija, French, and Amazigh. Content courses address many topics including culture, political science, history, economic issues, current events, etc.
With a wide range of courses, in addition to Moroccan university direct enrollment and internships options, group program directors and individuals can create semester, summer, academic year, or short-term curricula that meet their desired educational goals.
Since learning often occurs outside of the classroom, AALIM offers conversation practice with language partners, cultural activities, excursions, and lodging with host families.
