What We Do
Two common problems that language teachers face are: 1) How can you get your students to an intermediate level of fluency? and 2) Retention. An ACTFL publication suggested that it should take 7 years of school to reach an intermediate mid level of fluency and 9 years to reach the intermediate high level. With the power of TPRS®, students have reached the intermediate high level after just 80 hours of instruction. This is actually just slightly more than 1 semester of instruction. Our latest ideas are working so well that we are calling them TPRS 2.0. Several studies have reported poor retention across language classes. They indicate that roughly 4% of language students make it through level 4. With the innovation of TPRS®, students experience higher engagement and excitement for learning a second language.
